I bought myself some happies recently from one of my favorite blogger's little online store. Miss Doxie is a lawyer by day and makes cute wiener dog stuff by night (I guess at night, I don't know when else she'd have time). My favorite item is this little pupper:
As you can see, she's pink on one side and brown on the other. She's wearing a cute little ribbon and she's stuffed with a bit of lavender so she smells pretty, too. You can get a handmade doxie for squishing right here. I also picked up some hilarious gift tags, a set of pretty note cards, and a cute little dragonfly necklace. Everything is on sale right now and some of the proceeds go to the Dachshund Rescue of North America.
I was looking for a picture of Camel pose today and found these. How cute!!
I'm already a little bored with the yoga DVD I've been doing (it's pretty short) so I've been poking around Amazon looking for something a little longer. I haven't ordered anything yet but I am thinking about the DVD to the left there. I'm definitely not very strong or flexible but I'd like a DVD I can progress with over time and that challenges me along the way. I am kind of iffy because that chick on the cover is uh.. what's the word? CRAZY STICK THIN. But we'll see.
I've also been trying to cut back on refined sugars and other processed foods. I realized that the whole reason I'm so tired all the time is because I've been putting crappy food into my body (uh.. duh) and sugar doesn't help with anxiety much, either. The funny thing is that because I've been eating a lot more protein and whole grains, I have more energy and haven't been sleeping as much. I'm hoping my body gets used to it so I can sleep again!

I'm so smitten with this lil' guy. The pic was posted on Cute Overload a couple days ago and it has since become my desktop and cellphone wallpapers. He just makes me smile!

I love polar bears for two reasons. First, they are so insanely adorable it's nearly painful to look directly at them. I just want to shnuggle. But that's probably not a great idea because a polar bear will kick your ass. Two, they're really interesting animals. Did you know that their skin is black and that each hair is actually a hallow cone? This helps to direct sunlight towards their body and trap it for warmth.
I cried a little during that polar bear part in "An Inconvenient Truth." Not cool, Mr. Gore! NOT COOL.

Oh and this video is real cute. I'm pretty sure that Golden Retriever puppies are genetically engineered for maximum OMGCUTE-ness.
